Job Description​

 

Duties:
- Perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with emissions standards
- Identify and report any faults or issues found during the testing process
- Conduct necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles meet required standards
- Keep accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained

Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Valid MOT Tester licence, or the ability to obtain one with the necessary qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: From £17.00 per hour - subject to skills and experience.

 

Working Hours: 

40 hour working week.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - with 1 hour for rest/lunch breaks

We generally work Monday to Fridays.

Any weekend working, or extra week day hours working, requirements will be discussed and agreed with you.

Experience:

• Workshop: Ideally a minimum of 2 years

 

Driving Licence/Certification:

• Clean Driving Licence, or with a maximum of 6 points on it?

 

Work Location: In person at our premises in King's Lynn on Bergen Way Business Park.
